What Your Store Includes

Every seller on PengDrop gets a storefront at pengdrop.com/store/yourname. It's a product catalogue with your branding, where buyers can browse, add items to a cart, and check out.

Your store comes with:

  • Custom branding — your store name, logo, and colour theme.
  • Product pages — each product has its own page with a title, description, images, pricing, and a buy button.
  • Shopping cart — buyers can add multiple products and purchase them in one checkout.
  • Category filtering — organise your products into categories so buyers can find what they need.
  • About & Contact pages — built-in pages so buyers can learn about you and get in touch.
  • Mobile responsive — your store works on phones, tablets, and desktops.

Your store is live as soon as you publish your first product. Share the link on social media, your website, your email list, or anywhere else.

Setting Up Your Store

Getting started takes a few minutes:

  1. Create an account — sign up with your email or Google. No credit card needed.
  2. Connect Stripe — link your Stripe account so you can accept payments. If you don't have one, Stripe will walk you through creating one during setup.
  3. Add your branding — choose your store name, upload a logo, and set your URL.
  4. Upload products — add a title, description, price, and the files buyers will download. You can include multiple files per product.

Once your first product is published, your store is live and accepting orders. The whole process can be done in under 10 minutes.

What Happens When Someone Buys

When a buyer visits your store, they browse your products, add items to their cart, and check out through Stripe. They can pay with a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. No account creation required — just email and payment details.

After payment, two things happen within seconds:

  • The buyer receives an email with secure download links for every file in their purchase.
  • You get notified of the sale via email and in your dashboard.

Download links are unique to each order and secured with access tokens. Buyers can re-download their files for 30 days after purchase. You don't need to do anything manually — PengDrop handles the entire process.

Payments

All payments go directly to your Stripe account. PengDrop never holds your money. When someone buys your product, the charge is made on your Stripe account and the funds are available on your Stripe payout schedule (typically 2-3 business days).

You can price products in any currency Stripe supports — GBP, USD, EUR, and dozens more. Buyers pay in the currency you set.

Stripe's standard processing fees apply (typically 1.5% + 20p for UK cards, 2.5% + 20p for international cards). These are deducted by Stripe before the funds reach your account.

Managing Your Store

Your seller dashboard is where you manage everything:

  • Products — add new products, update prices, edit descriptions, or upload new files.
  • Orders — see every order with buyer email, payment status, product purchased, and download activity.
  • Analytics — track revenue, sales, store views, and top-selling products over time.
  • Settings — update your store name, logo, Stripe connection, and account details.
  • Billing — view your PengDrop invoices and manage your payment method.

Annual

$89/year

0% commission. Keep 100% of your sales (minus Stripe's processing fees).

Do I need technical skills?

No. PengDrop handles all the technical work — hosting, payments, file delivery, email notifications. You just upload your files, set a price, and publish. If you can use email, you can use PengDrop.

What's my store URL?

Your store lives at pengdrop.com/store/yourname. You choose the name when you set up your account.

Can I customise how my store looks?

Yes. You can set your store name, upload a logo, choose a colour theme, and write your own About and Contact pages. Your product pages include titles, descriptions, images, and pricing — all set by you.

How do I get paid?
