About Faith Fix

HI, IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU - I AM AMANDA RUTHE I serve as a pastor in the ELCA church and my passion is in spreading the love of God with others. I specifically found my passion in helping families talk about faith in their homes. I have three kids who keep me busy and enjoying life! They show me something new about my faith and God every day. The number one thing I want my kids to know at this stage in their faith life is that God loves them very much, just as they are. This is something you will see emphasized in every box; the fact that God loves us for who we are, as we continue to grow and change and transition. God is with us every step of the way, celebrating our uniqueness and embracing our identities. I have my Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary, my BA in Religion and Social Work from Luther College and cannot wait to see where my next educational journey might be. I love learning and discovering and imagining. Church resources are limited. They are not always exactly what we want. Faith Fix wants to help create new materials that work FOR you. We know how the Church has hurt people in the past. Exclusive language, theology of hate and division, not welcoming all people to the table. We believe in a God who sees all of us and loves us fully. Our passion at Faith Fix is to work alongside churches to create together, to make curriculum that includes everyone, and to preach the Gospel of love and justice.
